Probleme beim Mergen (E3 und Deveron)

Grundsätzliches

Magellan ist nicht Eressea. Die Entwickler von Magellan arbeiten zwar eng mit denen von Eressea zusammen, es sind aber dennoch zwei verschiedene Teams. Es ist nicht immer einfach zu erkennen, ob ein Problem an Magellan oder am Server liegt. Falls möglich bitten wir jedoch, Probleme bei der richtigen Adresse zu melden.

Problems with Merging (E3 and Deveron)

General Remarks

Magellan ist not Eressea. The Magellan developers work in close relationship to the Eressea developers, but they are two different teams. Es gab ein paar Probleme mit dem Mergen, verursacht durch neue "Spiel"-Tags. Das Betrifft die ersten Deveron Reports, sowie E3-Report 254.

Symptom: Magellan weigert sich, einen Report hinzuzufügen mit Verweis auf "Falsche Reportversion"

Lösung:

Möglichkeit 1 (empfohlen): Verwende den neuesten "nightly build", mindestens build 588 (http://magellan.log-out.net/download_de.php)

Möglichkeit 2 (nur Deveron): Verzichte darauf, Report 2 zu Report 1 hinzuzufügen.

Möglichkeit 3: Report von Hand editieren
* für E3:
- Entpacke die Zip-Datei mit dem Report (254-parteinummer.zip)
- Öffne die Datei mit der Erweiterung .cr mit einem Texteditor wie notepad (Word und dergleichen sind eher ungeeignet).
- Ändere die Zeile
E4;Spiel
in
E3;Spiel
- Speichere die cr-Datei.
- Füge die geänderte Datei in Magellan zur vorherigen hinzu.

* für Deveron
- Entpacke die Zip-Datei mit dem Report (1-parteinummer.zip)
- Öffne die Datei mit der Erweiterung .cr mit einem Texteditor wie notepad (Word und dergleichen sind eher ungeeignet).
- Ändere die Zeiele
E4;Spiel
in
Deveron;Spiel
- Speichere die cr-Datei.
- Öffne die geänderte Datei in Magellan
- Füge Report 2 hinzu

Problems with Merging -- English version

There were problems with merging report in Magellan caused by the new "Spiel" tag in the report. This applies to the first Deveron reports, and E3 report 254.

Symptom: Magellan refuses to merge these reports, mentioning a "wrong game type".

Solution 1 (recommended): Download the latest "nightly build" of Magellan starting tomorrow (you need at least build 588) at
http://magellan.log-out.net/download_en.php

Solution 2 (Deveron only): do not merge this week's report to last week's report. You can merge future reports, just not the first one with any of the following.

Solution 3: fix reports manually as follows:
* For E3
- unzip the report zip file (254-factionnr.zip)
- edit the file with the extension .cr with a text editor like notepad (using Word or the like is not recommended).
- change the line that reads
"E4";Spiel
to
"E3";Spiel
- save the file, then merge the edited file to last week's report

* For Deveron
- unzip the first report zip file (1-factionnr.zip)
- edit the file with the extension .cr with a text editor like notepad (using Word or the like is not recommended).
- change the line that reads
"E4";Spiel
to
"Deveron";Spiel
- save the file, then open it in Magellan
- you can now merge report 2 to this report

Ich finde dort nur den Build 581 (habe extra bis heute morgen gewartet).
